A-1 Total Control Dog Training Academy makes use of behavior modification by custom tailoring a program specifically for your problem canine. Owner, manager and trainer Steve Nixon has been training since 1972, and opened A-1 in 1993. He attended K-9 Alert School for seven and a half years where he learned Schutzhund techniques which were applied to tracking, protection, rescue, obedience and agility. Steve truly enjoys working with pets and their families. He also stresses that follow-ups are an important aspect to the program.
